Job Summary

The posts that are available is for:
a. A Community Scheme Portfolio Manager with immediate effect.
b. A Rent Administrator with immediate effect
a. The person will be on probation for 3 months.
b. The person must within this 3-month probation period familiarize him-/ herself with the contents of the:
i. Sectional Titles Schemes Management Act.
ii. Sectional Titles Schemes Management Regulations.
iii. Community Schemes Ombud Services Act and Regulations.
iv. Rental Housing Act and Regulations.
v. Magistrate Court Rules.
vi. High Court Rules.
c. If you need copies of the above same will be supplied to you on request.
d. The person must within 3 months reach a level of expertise to be able to work independently as an Executive Management Portfolio Manager, Rent Administrator and a legal assistant.
The Post.
a. The person will deal with all enquiries from owners and trustees of Executive Schemes. Some of the task will include:
b. Attend to trustee / directors meetings and type the minutes of the meetings.
c. Arrange Annual General Meetings, attend to same and type the minutes of the meetings.
d. To set up and manage Round Robin Resolutions.
e. To deal with all enquiries from owners and trustees.
f. To manage all insurance claims.
g. To manage all contractors.
h. To follow internal levy in arrear procedures.
i. To follow internal rent in arrear procedures.
j. To follow internal Acknowledgement of debt procedures.
k. To draw up summonses.
l. To manage hand over files for arrear levies which i.a. includes summons up to warrant of execution procedures.
10. Further requirements.
The successful candidate must need the following requirements.
a. Must be able to work from home.
b. Must be able to attend to the office at least once a week, sometimes more per week.
c. Must have his/her own computer at home.
d. Must have his/her own internet at home.
e. Must be able to set up a home office that is professional without background noise and interference.
f. Must have self-discipline to attend to normal office hours when working from home.
g. Must be able to attend to office meetings per Zoom.
